Start with songs, then the room
Ask how Chinese, Korean and English songs are found, and whether you can check a few favourites first. An impressive room does not guarantee the right catalogue. Confirm seating for your actual group.
Understand each part of the bill
Check hourly or session pricing, food and drinks, minimum spend, overtime, service charges and tax. Ask the venue to put the expected total and its conditions in writing before entering.
Leave time to wrap up
Agree on an end time and pick-up point before the group gets going. If dinner, karaoke and late food are all on the plan, let karaoke be the main event rather than filling every minute.
