Check the view and the seat
A high floor does not mean every seat has a river or skyline view. Check indoor versus terrace seating, window tables versus standing areas, rain arrangements and whether the pictured area can be requested.
Choose the atmosphere as well as the menu
For conversation, consider music volume and seating space. For a DJ or live performance, check the programme for that date. Look at alcohol-free drinks and small plates so everyone has an option.
Minimum spend, dress and the ride home
Confirm reservation fees, table minimums, event tickets and dress requirements, including whether taxes and charges are included. Arrange a ride from a suitable pick-up point rather than planning to ride a motorbike after drinking.
Venue directory coming after verification
This category currently offers planning and selection advice. Venue profiles, on-site photos, addresses and service details will be added as information is obtained and checked. No venue directory or prices are published on this page yet.
