1–2

Da Nang

Settle into Da Nang for My Khe Beach, the Cham museum and the Han River. Rest at midday and head out again for dinner. Avoid a distant time-critical activity on arrival day.

Da Nang

Choose a half-day at Marble Mountains with beach time, or devote the whole day to Ba Na Hills if it is a genuine priority. Pick one, then adjust for weather and energy.

Hoi An

Transfer to Hoi An, explore at dusk, then return early the next morning for historic streets and halls. Choose An Bang, countryside cycling or a cooking class for the afternoon. Tailoring fittings need their own time.

Da Nang

Transfer to Da Nang Airport according to your flight. Add margin in wet weather and busy periods; for an early departure, consider spending the final night in Da Nang.

Make it your own

Add two to three days for Hue. A single Da Nang base reduces hotel moves, but gives you less of Hoi An's early-morning and late-evening atmosphere.
